Lisa Lirones is an enthusiastic photographer with a uniquely artistic flare. Her passion is to share the beauty of Northern Michigan with viewers around the world. With 40 years of marriage and raising her two successful sons, Lisa has devoted her life to family all while building a successful photography career.

Lisa graduated from Central Michigan University with a Batchelor's degree in Education. She taught art for 10 years in Mancelona public schools, as well as coaching numerous sports teams and instructing swimming and diving lessons.

The importance of community has always been a driving force to facilitate local photography classes and online workshops for students near and far. Lisa founded the Antrim Photography Workshop (APW) in 2009 in addition to working with local schools and libraries to help fulfill the dreams of aspiring photographers by sharing her knowledge and experience. 

​

Her mission is to motivate those with the same creative passion, helping to elevate others' skills and techniques through innovative in-person and virtual curriculums. Lisa owns a local art gallery outside of Alden where she displays her work. She continues to take nature, studio, weddings, family, and senior portraits.
